Responsive Mental Health Services LLC (RMHS LLC)
Welcome to Responsive Mental Health Services LLC (Responsive or RMHS LLC for short), my private therapy practice. I provide individual therapy through telehealth only using HIPAA compliant communications methods including Doxy.me. My therapy participants include adults and adolescents. I welcome LGBTQIA people and their families to my practice. And also welcome people working on deconstruction of and recovery from the effects of trauma, especially long term childhood trauma. My therapy is always influenced by my firm grounding in human rights.
At RMHS LLC I support a person’s strengths and helping them cope with or overcome limitations from outside themselves. I have a total of over thirty years combined experience working as a case manager, case manager supervisor, and therapist. Over that time I have worked with people with developmental and other disabilities, the unhoused community, veterans and others experiencing addictions, sex workers, the transgender community, and members of the BIPOC community. A significant majority of my therapy participants over the years have experienced long term poverty and marginalization.

I have significant experience working with mood disorders, trauma, and neurodiversity in adults and teens. Welcome to Jenni’s Space:
Next, click over to Jenni’s Space, my personal corner of the public square where I rant and educate and entertain on and around the subjects of human rights and mental health. It contains articles, short fiction, poetry, and videos that feature those themes in some way.
In part, Jenni’s Space exists to give my hobbies a home. While the majority of what I write deals directly with human rights and/or mental health often my personal writing veers into one of my many special interests. Those interests include reading and writing science fiction, fantasy, poetry, and lots of other fiction. I also play a lot of video games, with the majority of those being MMORPGs and cozy games. Also in the “fun” category, I play Dungeons and Dragons (5th ed, currently) as DM and as a player. Around the house, I enjoy knitting, gardening, cooking and baking. My mother and aunt were both home economics teachers, so I often veer into teaching “adulting” skills while working with people on mental health, so that goes here as well.
Mutual Aid Resources
My mutual aid resources section is focused on helping people find places to pitch in. You can also find services here for when you’re in need. I focus here on finding and drawing attention to direct actions in the US. I especially seek and support organizations providing basic needs and protecting human rights.
My mutual aid work is NOT done as a non-profit. However, Soup & Solidarity Discord Server is a “charitable project” of a for-profit business. At the appropriate time (when the income from the server warrants it) I will seek the services of a fiscal sponsor to make donations deductible. Until then, you cannot deduct your donations from your taxes.
